Problem-based learning opportunities within Ontario (Canada) Health and Physical Education places emphasis on the ‘learning by doing’ philosophy which increases learner awareness. The educator cognitively coaches, posing questions that lead the inquirer and the educational inquiry authentically while encouraging self-direction.
