Manufacturing systems like MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) can plan production processes that consist of several production process steps. However, these systems cannot inform a production machine to continue or start the production process automatically. This paper will present a technique that covers this kind of problem by using the lightweight MQTT protocol.
