War and peace

The world is living in a culture of war. In spite of eras and areas of enlightenment, subcultures of warring people are persisting as is reflected in local and global terrorism. Emotions rather than rationality determine the aggressive behavior of the human species on this Earth. We react to the symptoms but neglect to study the causes of violence, terrorism and wars. It all boils down to a universal struggle for power and celestial glory. A systems approach is proposed to investigate global society as a system of interrelated and interacting subsystems that are governed by brainless action and reaction.
