The treatise of Alisher Navoi is devoted to the aruz verse system, which is the traditional and widespread system of literatures of the Muslim East. In the preface, Navoi points to sources that were used in the creation of Mezon Al-Avzon. These sources are as follows: Al-Mu’jam by Shams Qays Razi, Meyor al-Ash’or by Nasiriddin Tusi and Risalai Aruz by Abdurrahman Jami in comparison with these sources, in order to study the sequence and innovation of Alisher Navoi in the science of aruz.
