Researches the Influence of Bends in Optical Fibers of Various Kinds on the Brillouin Traces
Results of experimental tests of bend effect of various optical fibers on Brillouin traces are proposed. The diagnostic problems of the unauthorized access to fiber optical communication lines are demonstrated. Results of tests are proved the merit of the Brillouin reflectometry method for early diagnostics of "trouble" segments in optical cables.
