These standards provide a mechanism for the evaluation of teachers. The sample of the study comprised of 256 teachers. An observational checklist was employed for observing the skills of teachers regarding different dimensions of the assessment of students. The study explored that the teachers were conducting all the phases of assessment e.g. developing test, marking of a test, documenting and reporting tests results, and to use tests results competently but deficiencies were observed regarding the process of administrating test.
