KONTRIBUSI ILMU KOMUNIKASI PADA ILMU DAKWAH

Dakwah selain penyampaian pesan agama, pada dasarnya adalah proses penyampaian informasi yang membutuhkan proses komunikasi. Ajaran agama Islam dalam proses dakwah memiliki pesan-pesan yang dikomunikasikan kepada manusia sebagai sasaran dakwah. Disinilah proses komunikasi terjadi dalam suatu proses dakwah. Ilmu komunikasi merupakan disiplin ilmu yang memiliki kontribusi dalam perkembangan ilmu dakwah. Keberhasilan dakwah sangat ditentukan dari proses komunikasi. Pada dasarnya yang membedakan antara proses komunikasi dan dakwah terletak pada pesan yang disampaikan dan tujuan yang akan dicapai. Tujuan komunikasi adalah mengharapkan adanya partisipasi komunikan atas pesan yang disampaikan sehingga terjadi suatu respon dari komunikannya. Sedangkan proses dakwah memiliki tujuan agar pesan dakwah yang disampaikan mampu diterima oleh partisipan (mad’u) agar terjadinya suatu perubahan sikap kea rah kebaikan. Sehingga disinilah titik singgung antara kontribusi ilmu komunikasi pada ilmu dakwah. Da'wah, apart from delivering religious messages, is in fact a process of delivering information which requires a communication process. The teachings of Islam in the process of proselytizing have messages that are communicated to humans as targets of preaching. This is where the communication process occurs in a da'wah process. Communication science is a discipline that has contributed to the development of da'wah science. The success of preaching is largely determined by the communication process. What distinguishes the difference between the process of communication and da'wah lies in the message conveyed and the goals to be achieved. The purpose of communication is to expect a communicant participant for the message conveyed so that a response occurs from the communicant. While the process of da'wah has the aim of the message conveyed to be able to be accepted by the participants (mad'u) so that the occurrence of a change in attitude is directed. So this is the point of contact between the contribution of communication science to the science of da'wah
