Seismic Performance Test of Concrete-structure Buildings
To address the problem of low accuracy of test results in the current testing method of seismic performance for concrete-structure buildings, this paper proposes a new testing method, in which a family of functions would be obtained by using the telescopic translation operations of wavelet functions, and wavelet transform would be performed on the simulated seismic signals; when the family of functions is composed of a standard orthogonal basis, the seismic signals would be reconstructed from the continuous wavelet transforms, and the denoised seismic signals would serve as the signal samples for testing the seismic performance of concrete-structure buildings, with the dynamic equilibrium equation of single-degree-of-freedom system used to solve the displacement response, velocity response, acceleration response and recovery force of the earthquakes. Then the calculation formula for the strength reduction factor and the maximum elastic response of the structure(s) would be adopted to calculate both the strength reduction factor and the maximum elastic response of the concrete-structure buildings to realize the seismic performance test of the concrete-structure buildings. The results of the test experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can be used to test the seismic performance of concrete buildings with a high degree of accuracy.
