Digital mental health interventions (DMHIs), including ecological assessment tools, provide promising pathways in enhancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of OCRDs. However, evaluating DHMIs may also pose distinct challenges that require an iterative approach reaching from theory-informed, evidence-based, user-centered development to standardized and naturalistic investigation.
