Due to the rapid depletion of fossil fuels and their increasing costs, as well as the environmental damage they cause, electricity generation from cheaper and cleaner renewable energy sources is being targeted in the area where work will be done. Hybrid energy systems are used in conjunction with backup Unitss due to the variable nature of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. In this study, a hybrid energy system with solar-wind-diesel generator-battery components was designed through HOMERPro software to meet the electricity demand of the closed prison in Burhaniye district of Balikesir. Simulations were carried out by applying 5 different battery scenarios in the hybrid energy system, and the optimum result was obtained. 摘要
