All these aspects formed the basis of this article. The data were collected through convenience sampling from a sample of 110 respondents in Haryana (India). As the data were collected in July, the country was already in its second phase of unlocking after several months of lockdown. The data were analysed using SPSS version 25. It was found that due to various awareness programs by the government, the majority of respondents had knowledge about the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 virus and its effects.
