Peripheral blood smear analysis is a laboratory procedure that helps in diagnosis of various pathological disorders such as malaria, anemia, leukemia, etc. This process is performed at a microscopic level and therefore is required to be precise. Manually performing microscopic evaluation is a challenging task. This task can be automated with the help of computer-aided systems.
