The novelty of this study is that it proposes an LFC system that uses a PID controller with a coefficient filter or derivative filter based on a harmony search algorithm and a genetic algorithm. The system was developed as a nonlinear optimization problem, and the optimization function to be minimized was integral time absolute error (ITAE), seeking the parameters of the PID controllers K i , K p , K d , and the filter coefficient. The harmony search algorithm with a filter proposed the best performance compared with other methods. Three-area nonreheat systems were used with several loading and generation conditions. The scenarios for different conditions were applied in each area separately and simultaneously to test system readability with a sudden change in generations and loads. This work was simulated using MATLAB 2020a software. 摘要
