It has many ways of manifesting, one of which is examination malpractice. This paper conceptualizes examination malpractice and considers its types, causes and effects. It further puts forward a number of specialized ICT tools that, if well utilized, will help checkmate examination malpractice in our educational institutions to include biometric machine, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), body scanner, metal detector, signal detector, among others.
