Although CEA has been demonstrated in sweat gland cutaneous tumors, little is known about its presence in skin and epithelial related tumors. We studied the presence of CEA and keratin in keratoacanthomas and precancerous skin lesions using immunohistochemical techniques. Its distribution related with differentiation, proliferation and malignant potential is observed.
