However, there is possibility to reuse it as a secondary material resource after determining the level of toxicity.Purpose. The purpose of this research is to assess the phytotoxicity of spent zeolite as a natural adsorbent for the purification of wastewater from dyeing and finishing production of textile dyes and auxiliary substances by the methods of phytoindication to determine possible directions of its use without additional costs for its disposal.Material and Methods. Wastewater from dyeing and finishing production and spent zeolite are research materials and winter barley seeds are the phytotest object. The method of scientific information generalization has been used; chemical analysis of wastewater has been carried out by the method of optical emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma; the intensity of winter barley stalks growth has been studied by the method of laboratory phytotesting; phytotoxicity has been evaluated with the use of analytical expression.Results. The phytotoxicity of used zeolite on water, soil, and concentrated substrates does not exceed 20%, which indicates the absence or low level of its toxicity and the possibility of reuse. The phytotoxicity of the aqueous substrate (water extract) of the spent zeolite has a negative value (–6.67%), which indicates that the studied aqueous substrate is not toxic.Conclusions. 摘要

引言利用天然沸石对废水进行吸附净化,对纺织品染色工艺进行优化具有重要意义。净化后的水可作为循环水在织物染色技术中重复使用。使用过的沸石吸附剂属于染整工业废水处理过程中的副产品。然而,在确定其毒性水平后,有可能将其作为二次材料资源重新利用。本研究的目的是通过植物指示法评估废沸石作为天然吸附剂的植物毒性,以净化纺织染料和辅助物质的染整生产废水,从而确定其可能的使用方向,且不增加处理成本。染整生产废水和废沸石是研究材料,冬大麦种子是植物试验对象。采用科学信息概括法;用电感耦合等离子体光发射光谱法对废水进行化学分析;用实验室植物测试法研究冬大麦秆的生长强度;用分析表达式评估植物毒性。使用过的沸石对水、土壤和浓缩基质的植物毒性不超过 20%,这表明沸石没有毒性或毒性较低,可以重复使用。废沸石的水基质(水提取物)的植物毒性为负值(-6.67%),这表明所研究的水基质没有毒性。通过对废吸附剂毒性的实验评估,可以将其重新用于道路建设和建筑材料生产领域。
