Un abcès de la chambre sous-cutanée est un signe d’alarme pour une éventuelle migration de l’anneau gastrique. Les options thérapeutiques pour retirer l’anneau migré restent la coloscopie (si l’anneau gastrique se trouve au niveau de la valvule iléo-cæcale), la laparoscopie ou encore la mini-laparotomie.</p></div><div><p>Gastric band migration, for which abscess of the subcutaneous port is an alarm signal, can in some cases be asymptomatic.
