A critical review of the faunistic literature and erroneous records of these species from Russia is given. Distribution maps with new locations are provided for <i>G.</i> (<i>Gerriselloides</i>) <i>asper</i> and <i>G.</i> (<i>Gerriselloides</i>) <i>brachynotus</i>.
