The effect of ionic strength is negligible in both cases. The dielectric constant has negative effect on uncatalyzed reaction and positive effect on catalyzed reaction. To compute the thermodynamic parameters the kinetic runs were studied at different temperatures (293-313 K). The stoichiometry of the reaction was studied and the products of oxidation were analyzed.
