The molecular weights of the cryogel samples varied from 25⋅10<sup>3</sup> to 60⋅10<sup>3</sup>. It has been found that the ultimate strength of dry briquettes increased from 1.2 to 3.7 MPa with an increase in the polymer molecular weight. Effect of Characteristics of Polyvinyl Alcohol on the Physical and Chemical Properties of Carbon-Containing Cryogels
Samples of cryogels based on aqueous solutions of polyvinyl alcohol were investigated. The molecular weights of the cryogel samples varied from 25⋅103 to 60⋅103. It has been found that the ultimate strength of dry briquettes increased from 1.2 to 3.7 MPa with an increase in the polymer molecular weight.
