She developed dizziness, nausea, sweating, blood pressure changes, and vision loss during the procedure. MRI confirmed bilateral cerebral infarctions. The patient recovered with conservative treatment.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Percutaneous vertebroplasty, though helpful, carries a rare risk of cortical blindness. Cortical blindness after percutaneous vertebroplasty: a case report and comprehensive review of the literature.
