For EVs, the study reveals a linear relationship between battery size and autonomy, with some exceptions emphasizing the importance of data acquisition and individual EV assessment. The study also provides insights into the relationship between trip length and energy consumption, indicating that longer trips exhibit greater fluctuation in energy consumption due to varying conditions, while energy usage patterns of shorter trips are more predictable.
