A total of 64 nurses (n = 32 acupressure, n = 32 sham acupressure) participated in this prospective, 2-arm (1:1) study with an experimental design. In the study, both groups used the pressure points they were taught while performing self-acupressure 3 times per week for 4 weeks. After the intervention, the total mean score average of the acupressure group on the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index and Fatigue Severity Scale was significantly lower than that of the sham acupressure group (P < .05).
