However, interventions following recovery to prevent recurrence, in conjunction with preventive treatment for latent TB infection (LTBI), will aid in meeting these objectives.</p><p><strong>What are the implications for public health practice?: </strong>Implementing interventions to mitigate recurrence is essential for improving TB control strategies both in China and worldwide.
