In this study, we report the complete chloroplast genome of <i>R. idaeus</i>, it displayed a typical quadripartite structure with 155687 bp in length. The genome encodes 127 genes including 79 protein coding genes, 8 rRNA genes and 40 tRNA genes, the overall GC content is 37.2%.
