Factors Affecting the Cut Width in the Wire-Cut Electrical Discharge Machining of VV751P Heat-Resistant Nickel Alloy
Abstract
The wire-cut electrical discharge machining of VV751P heat-resistant nickel alloy is considered. An empirical model is formulated to describe the influence of the machining conditions and the workpiece thickness on the cut width. On the basis of the results obtained, the required accuracy may be obtained in machining VV751P alloy components.
