CT and MRI of Nose & para nasal sinus revealed a mass lesion in the left maxillary sinus infiltrating and eroding the orbital wall and extending intracranially. Biopsy from the lesion revealed Ewing's sarcoma with strong positivity for CD-99 marker. Patient was referred to radiotherapy due to extensive disease at younger age. The CT and MRI along with HPE and IHC markers enables early diagnosis and prompt treatment that leads to better survival and prognosis, as unlike Ewing's sarcoma of long bones, that metastasize early. 摘要

尤文氏肉瘤是一种小圆形细胞肿瘤，通常累及长骨。头颈部受累较少，上颌窦是最罕见的受累部位。在此，我们报告了一例 12 岁女性患者的病例，患者左侧面部肿胀，持续 3 周，呈弥漫性，触诊较硬。鼻及鼻下窦 CT 和 MRI 显示左侧上颌窦有肿块病变，浸润并侵蚀眶壁，并向颅内延伸。病灶活检显示为尤文氏肉瘤，CD-99标记呈强阳性。由于患者年龄较小，病变范围较广，因此转诊接受放疗。CT 和 MRI 以及 HPE 和 IHC 标记可实现早期诊断和及时治疗，从而提高患者的生存率和预后。目前，联合化放疗是标准的治疗方法，同时还需要进行至少两年的密切随访。

The Journal accepts articles pertaining to clinical reports, Clinical studies, Research articles in basic and applied Otolaryngology, short Communications, Clinical records reporting unusual presentations or lesions and new surgical techniques. The journal acts as a catalyst and mirrors the Indian Otolaryngologist’s active interests and pursuits. The Journal also invites articles from senior and experienced authors on interesting topics in Otolaryngology and allied sciences from all over the world. The print version is distributed free to about 4000 members of Association of Otolaryngologists of India and the e-Journal shortly going to make its appearance on the Springer Board can be accessed by all the members.
