We specifically examined super absorbent polymer (SAP) and confirmed the usefulness of SAP as a new support for MRI phantoms in terms of measurement and changes over time.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>The simplicity of preparing SAP as a support, its influence on the measured values of substances, and its changes over time were compared with those of agar.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Compared to agar, SAP was easier to prepare.
