头颈部外伤导致的颈内动脉闭塞，又称外伤性颅内动脉闭塞，在临床上较为罕见。外伤性颅底骨折是外伤性脑损伤的常见并发症。外伤性颅底骨折是外伤性颈内动脉闭塞的原因之一。如果不能早期发现并及时治疗，患者的预后很差。这篇社论对这一疾病进行了相关分析。
