Overall, sulpiride exerted overt anxiolytic-like effects in the novel tank test and showed tranquilizing-like effects in the zebrafish tail immobilization test, accompanied by lowered whole-brain dopamine and its elevated turnover, without affecting serotonin or norepinephrine levels and their turnover.
