The problem of radiation-physical processes in topological insulators is discussed. As an example, а “Coulomb explosion” on the surface of topological insulators initiated by the K-ionization of a negative ion and the subsequent Auger cascade, which carries a large Auger charge Z \( \gg \) 1 to the valence states of the local region, is considered.
