Specificity is 100% as plasmidic sequence is not found in other bacteria. Sensitivity seems to be good quality on experimental model. At present time, it is under clinical evaluation. 摘要

沙眼衣原体原位杂交可以鉴定细菌。此外,可以证实沙眼衣原体在组织水平上的精确定位。对我们来说,知道沙眼衣原体在结膜中的位置是非常重要的。采用DNA标记503bp的质粒探针,使石蜡包埋细胞检测沙眼衣原体成为可能。特异性为100%,因为在其他细菌中没有发现质粒序列。在实验模型上,灵敏度似乎具有良好的质量。目前正处于临床评价阶段。该方法可在诊断有争议的情况下完成衣原体的PCR检测。
