Among the various hereditary cancer syndromes, Hereditary non polyposis Colorectal Cancer (HNPCC or Lynch syndrome), Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) and related syndromes, Hereditary Breast tumours, Li-Fraumeni syndrome and Von Hippel-Lindau disease have been discussed in more detail.
