The data was obtained from week zero to twelve (SBP: Systolic Blood Pressure and DBP: Diastolic Blood Pressure). Safety of Beta blocker, calcium channel blocker and angiotensin receptor blocker were investigated.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Comparison of efficacy between the beta blocker, calcium channel blocker and angiotensin blocker receptor blocker were shown to be non-significant. It indicated that all drug therapies have the same successful reduction of SBP (P-0.4819). Methodology: Ethical approval of study was obtained from human research ethics committee of the hospital. 180 patients were enrolled with three groups of antihypertensive medication groups as calcium channel blocker (amlodipine), beta blocker (metoprolol) and angiotensin receptor blocker (telmisartan) over a span of eight months. The data was obtained from week zero to twelve (SBP: Systolic Blood Pressure and DBP: Diastolic Blood Pressure). Safety of Beta blocker, calcium channel blocker and angiotensin receptor blocker were investigated.

Results: Comparison of efficacy between the beta blocker, calcium channel blocker and angiotensin blocker receptor blocker were shown to be non-significant. It indicated that all drug therapies have the same successful reduction of SBP (P-0.4819). No significant adverse reactions were observed in either class of the medicines.
