Resiliencia en el agua doméstica en comunidades del río Sonora ante el derrame de 2014

This study analyzes the components of resilience: institutions, systems, and agents, in the domestic water supply of localities of the Sonora river in the face of the 2014 mining spill. The methodology included interviews with managers and users of water in three localities. As a result, in local water institutions there is better management with respect to state and federal ones; Regarding water supply systems, we conclude that these are insufficient or non-existent. For their part, agents at the local-community level have a differentiated management capacity between localities, but similar at the household level.
