Objective: To observe the clinical effect of ultrasound guided sclerotherapy for thyroid cystic solid nodules. Method: 49 patients with thyroid nodules (57 cystic solid nodules) admitted to Jincheng Coal Industry Group General Hospital from July 2016 to June 2019 were selected for ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. The treatment effect, changes in nodule volume before and after treatment, and adverse reactions were analyzed. After ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, 51 out of 57 cystic solid nodules were effective, with a total effective rate of 89.5%; The volume of nodules before treatment was (12.4 ± 5.2) cm3, and the volume after treatment was (2.8 ± 3.1) cm3. There was a statistically significant difference before and after treatment (t=11.97, P<0.05); Among the 49 patients, 2 experienced pain and 1 experienced intraoperative bleeding, with a complication rate of 6.1% (3/49). Conclusion: Ultrasound guided sclerotherapy for thyroid cystic solid nodules is effective, easy to operate, and has no serious complications.
