The method used is descriptive method with classroom action research (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). The subjects were mathematics teachers and students of class VIII. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques with a data collection tool is the observation sheet teachers' ability to implementing the learning and observation sheet student’s abilities of mathematical representation. 摘要

本研究旨在描述在巴图安巴尔初中三年级(SMP Negeri 3)八年级学生关系与函数主题的学生工作表(Lembar Kerja Siswa)的帮助下,运用情境方法提高学生的数学表达能力。所使用的方法是课堂行动研究的描述性方法(Penelitian Tindakan Kelas)。受试者是数学老师和八班的学生。数据采集技术采用的是直接观察技术与数据采集工具,是观察表教师实施学习的能力和观察表学生的数学表达能力。本研究分3个周期进行,结果表明:(1)从第一个周期到第三个周期的视觉表征能力提高了27.5%。
