In addition, to show the molecular biology studies used in the vaginal microbiota which have allowed to get better knowledge about the vaginal flora. For that purpose, Latin-American and international bibliographies were reviewed on different web pages. Articles published from 1991 to April 2021 were reviewed. This review shows the different mechanisms that keep the health or homeostasis of the vagina.
