This research is qualitative. The techniques of collecting data are Questionnaire and interview. The subject of this research was 36 students’ of XII MIPA 3. The purpose of this research is analyzed what factors cause students to be anxious about writing in English learning in grade XII MIPA 3 SMAN 6 Padang. The results of the data that have been obtained with the cognitive problems is the factors that most influence students’ anxiety in writing English especially in grade XII MIPA 3 at SMAN6 Padang, and from internal factors influencing students’ anxiety in writing English factor problem of word choice has the lowest score from internal factors in writing English classroom, it scores was 31.86%. 摘要

本研究旨在分析SMAN6巴东十二年级MIPA3学生在英语学习中的写作焦虑。这项研究是定性的。收集数据的方法有问卷调查和访谈。本研究以十二届MIPA3的36名学生为研究对象。本研究的目的是分析十二年级学生在英语学习中产生写作焦虑的因素。认知问题是影响学生英语写作焦虑的最主要因素,尤其是在SMAN6巴东十二年级MIPA3年级,从影响学生英语书写焦虑的内部因素来看,在写作英语课堂中,单词选择问题在内部因素中得分最低,it得分为31.86%。从外部因素来看,得分最低的是缺乏写作阶段的知识,it得分为32.03%
