In the present study, perception data was collected from all the 160 metro stations of Delhi Metro and both qualitative and quantitative research technique was employed to analyse the result. The result of the study depicts that presence and alertness of security personnel has most significant impact over commuter satisfaction followed by effectiveness of metal detector and safety provisions against accident and terrorist attack. 摘要

由于客流量大、能见度高、可达性高、安全威胁日益增加,公共交通特别是地铁等大规模快速交通服务容易受到风险的影响。通勤者在乘坐公共交通工具时对自身安全高度敏感和关注,而公共交通的安全和安保措施是影响顾客满意度的最重要因素之一。在本研究中,从德里地铁所有160个地铁站收集感知数据,并采用定性和定量研究技术对结果进行分析。研究结果表明,保安人员的存在和警惕性对通勤满意度的影响最为显著,其次是金属探测器的有效性和防止事故和恐怖袭击的安全措施。这项研究认为,保安服务需要根据不断变化的保安动态进行审查,以应对任何重大事件和不可预见的情况。
