They have evolved greatly since the early days of the Internet. This article traces the course of evolution of the library webpage for Allina Health Library Services from the mid-1990s to the present. Allina Health Library Services was an early adopter of technology, leading the way in webpage development for our institution. Over time, the library webpage went through several iterations, leading to a mature, but more tightly controlled intranet environment. This, in fact, became constrictive and counterproductive.
