The followingplant associations are defined:Quercetum veneris–ithaburensis, Calicotomo villosae –Rhamnetum punctati, Eryngio cretici –Echietum angustifolii and Sileno aegyptiacae –Isatidetum lusitanicae.Consequently, the alliance Quercion ithaburensi is stated for the first time in Lebanon. Vegetationseries for progressive and regressive successions are also produced.
