Using cultural studies approach, this paper exposes the meanings behind the practice of gender typing towards iPhone products within the @idevice.indonesia community. Gender typing is a process in which a person associates him/herself with a particular gender and then behaves accordingly to the values ​and the attributes adopted with the particular sex that they identify as his/hers. 摘要

智能手机等科技产品的日益使用对智能手机消费的社会实践产生了可以避免的的影响。这些做法不仅与阶级建设和社会地位有关,还与性别建设方面的身份斗争有关,尤其是在苹果最大的Instagram在线社区之一@本文采用文化研究的方法,揭示了@idevice.indonesia社区中对iPhone产品进行性别分类的做法背后的含义。性别分类是一个人将自己与特定性别联系起来,然后根据价值观行事的过程​以及他们认定为他/她的特定性别所具有的特征。通过这一分析,我们深入了解了印度尼西亚产品技术性别分型实践背后的含义,这可以为消费者提供重要的灵感,也可以为技术生产者做出贡献。
