Currently nanomedicine is in the transition stage from the world of fiction to a revolutionizing world of healthcare. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter at the molecular and atomic levels. The wide range of its clinical applications makes it to offer a promising future in the field of medicine as well as dentistry. Nanorobotics will expand enormously the effectiveness, comfort, and speed of treatments and significantly reducing their risk, cost and invasiveness. Although this rapidly advancing field of medicine offers a promising future, it may also pose a risk for misuse and abuse.
