Unlike the previous research that merely focused on the types of conceptual metaphors but failed to analyze the image schemas of the metaphors, this research aims at finding and describing how conceptual metaphors as well as the image schemas of the metaphors are used in Kahitna’s song lyrics. The data were analysed on the basis of Conceptual Metaphor Theory from Lakoff and Johnson’s (1980) and Kovecses’s (2010) and also Saeed’s Image Schema (2016). 摘要

每首歌都有歌词,每一句歌词都不可否认地包含了一两个词曲作者想要表达的信息或想法。话虽如此,当听众听到歌曲或理解歌词内容时,词曲作者通常会使用概念隐喻,使他们的歌曲在美学上可听,在情感上唤起听众的心。与以往只关注概念隐喻的类型而没有分析隐喻的意象图式的研究不同,本研究旨在发现和描述概念隐喻以及隐喻的意象模式是如何在Kahitna的歌词中使用的。根据Lakoff和Johnson(1980)、Kovecses(2010)以及Saeed的Image Schema(2016)的概念隐喻理论对数据进行了分析。研究表明,在Kahitna的歌词中发现了九个概念隐喻:“爱的激情是海”、“爱的故事是旅程”、“关系的困难是旅程”,“爱人的目标是旅程”“最深的心是海”“心是容器”“爱是容器”,在本研究中还发现了包含模式、路径模式和强制模式。
