Two new species of the genus Amphorotia (Bacillariophyta) from Lake Baikal (Eastern Siberia, Russia)
In a sample taken by A. P. Skabitschewsky on 10 VII 1965 from bottom sediments surrounding the Ushkany Islands (Lake Baikal), the species Amphorotia baicalensis was found along with two new species described herein: Amphorotia skabitschewskii Glushchenko et Kulikovskiy, sp. nov. and Amphorotia skvortzowii Glushchenko et Kulikovskiy, sp. nov.
