An electronic search of PubMed and Google Scholar was performed for the articles published between January 2000 and July 2022 using the keywords found in the Medical Subject Headings database along with PubMed regarding diseases affecting voice. Our preliminary search result identified 608 articles using the keywords mentioned below. Among those, 12 articles met the inclusion criteria set for this review. Voice analysis can prove to be the missing link in the study and early detection of diseases.
