Mujerista Psychology: A Case Study Centering Latinx Empowerment in Psychotherapy

Abstract This article uses a case study to illustrate Mujerista tenants for mental health practitioners working with the adult female Latinx population. Reviewed are potential Latinx cultural values, history, traditions, and political movements within the United States.
