This research was ex-post facto research. The students of English as a general subject in 2018/2019 academic year were the population of this study. The sample was chosen by using a random sampling technique in which there were 150 students chosen as the subjects of this research. The data were taken by using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed by using SPSS Statistics 18 Software. The result showed that there were no significant effects of teachers' beliefs on students' achievement. H0 was accepted because the t-value was lower than the t-table. 摘要

教师信念是一种个人建构,可以提供对教师实践的理解、感知和评价。本研究旨在了解巴东大学学生对教师信念的认知及其对学生英语通识成绩的影响。这项研究是事后研究。本研究以2018/2019学年普通英语专业的学生为研究对象。样本的选择采用随机抽样技术,其中有150名学生被选为本研究的主题。采用李克特量表进行数据采集,采用SPSS统计软件进行统计分析。结果显示,教师信念对学生成绩无显著影响。H0被接受是因为t值低于t表。t值为1.008,t表为6.313。
