A fifth species, Seiitaoides sandyi n. sp., is described here from deeper waters in New Caledonia. Four species of Seiitaoides Griffin & Tranter, 1986 (Majoidea: Majidae) are now known from the Indo-West Pacific. A fifth species, Seiitaoides sandyi n. sp., is described here from deeper waters in New Caledonia.
